St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger…
Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.
I love Richelle Mead! Her books are riveting until the end. Roses snarkyness is refreshing along with her penchant for trouble, making for a plethora of adventures.
Such a fabulous series! Have you tried her Bloodlines spin-off?
I have and I love it! I also loved the Succubus series. I want to read her new series as well. She is definitely one of my favorite authors!
I haven’t read the Succubus series – and I tried to get into her ‘Gameboard of the gods’ book but I wasn’t in a reading mood at the time. It’s still on my shelf, so I’ll give it another shot when the mood strikes me. But like you, I love her writing style!
